For the Prelim Task we shot a scene of a person opening a door, walking across a room, sitting down and having a conversation.
Filming and editing the prelim task was so much fun, as we'd never had experience with filming and a camera since starting media!
There was three in our group (laura, mair and me) and we drew a storyboard before we started filming for the prelim task.
Our edited prelim task was okay, we used different conventions such as over the shoulder shot and the shot reverse shot. Our
camera angles were good and followed
the 180 degree rule. I was able to use the editing software and found it
easy to understand. I learned how to use a camera, how to set it up and
set up the tripod and how to use the editing software. I established
that it is
important to choose a quiet location with good lighting to film in so
that we are not disturbed by people.

Three
things which we could do to improve the prelim task would be to film everything more than once, to film from different angles and most importantly to rehearse the film before filming (we wasted a fair bit of time stopping and starting!)
